PhD Student Position for BABAR at
SLAC
The Experimental Particle Physics group of the Humboldt-University
Berlin (http://www-eep.physik.hu-berlin.de
) is member of the BABAR Collaboration at SLAC's Electron Positron
storage ring PEP II. BABAR is a multi-purpose detector built to detect
the decay products of copiously produced B- and D-mesons and tau-leptons.
Main motivation for the measurements is to search for CP violation in
the B-meson system, to determine CKM matrix parameters and to look for
phenomena beyond the standard model.
