Author Guides (FGST)
When should you register your FGST Document
as a SLAC Document?
A Fermi Gamma-Ray Space Telescope (previously GLAST) scientific or technical document is also considered a SLAC document when any of the authors meet the following criteria. What is a SLAC Author's Responsibility?
If you are a SLAC employee or any portion of your work otherwise funded by SLAC, and listed as an author or co-author on an FGST paper, then you are responsible for completing the SLAC Document Registration process. This process consists of ensuring that the proper SLAC acknowledgement appears on the paper, obtaining a SLAC document number, and submitting a preprint version of the paper to InfoMedia Solutions via SciDoc. If questions contact Elliott Bloom or Tune Kamae for assistance. Exceptions
As a rare exception, for non-SLAC employee members or affiliates of FGST that reference a SLAC employee's contribution in the author list or in the acknowledgements, but strongly believe that the document does not represent work done at SLAC or using SLAC resources, a SLAC document number may not be required. Exceptions should be routed through Elliott Bloom or Tune Kamae. |
