1983 Proceedings of the SLAC Summer Institute on Particle Physics: Dynamic and Spectroscopy at High Energy, July 18-29, 1983
Gilman, F..
The eleventh SLAC Summer Institute on Particle Physics was held from July 18 to July 29, 1983. The main topic was Dynamics and Spectroscopy at High Energy. The program was seven days of "Summer School" devoted to lectures on spectroscopy of heavy quark systems and jets from both an experimental and theoretical point of view together with lectures on the physics and technology of charged particle tracking and calorimetry. The program was seven days of "Summer School" devoted to lectures on spectroscopy of heavy quark systems and jets from both an experimental and theoretical point of view together with lectures on the physics and technology of charged particle tracking and calorimetry. School was followed by a three-day "Topical Conference" highlighted by reports on the discovery of the W and Z at CERN. The 1983 Institute was attended by 327 physicists from 15 countries.
