We have installed and put in operation a system for turn-by-turn tracking of a single bunch in the SPEAR storage ring at SLAC which can provide useful information about non linear dynamical properties as seen by the beam. The system is being used to obtain the image of the action plane on the frequency plane (footprints). The data is analyzed using recently introduced to accelerators physics frequency analysis techniques. We will report on initial results.
