In short: Spencer's presentation was excellent. In terms of content the presentation was very informative, it was well organized and presented quite clearly. The slides were all well put together: they were aesthetically pleasing, none of them were cluttered, they contained relevant information, and none of them detracted from what he was saying. The organization was excellent, it was a logical progression towards understanding the model and none of the steps along the way required excessive hand waving. Each section of the presentation was well focused on its intended topic since the topics were chosen well enough that there was no need to get sidetracked. Overall, the presentation was very informative at an extremely approachable level without being oversimplified, which can be very difficult to achieve when it comes to cosmology.

Spencer was clearly well prepared for the presentation, from beginning to end he was brimming with confidence and his interest in the subject was quite clear. In addition to his confidence he was very comfortable giving the presentation which helped make it feel more approachable. With all of this said, it is pretty clear that he was in complete control of the presentation from start to end. In summary, the presentation was clear, informative, engaging and very well done.
