The presentation was informative if perhaps aimed at the wrong audience. I learned a lot about the materials in general, but the specifics were somewhat muddied by an assumption that the audience had more of a technical background in the field of solar cells. In the same way, the presentation didn't quite have a cohesive story for the relative inexpert to follow. Josh was definitely excited and knowledgeable about the material, but he didn't quite give the right background for me to appreciate the detail.

Because the presentation was so technical, the important contextual details were not emphasized as well as they could have been. But despite these organizational issues, I thought Josh was well prepared and understood the concepts well. He was in control of the talk and of the questions, and never seemed out to sea in his own words.
