About SciDoc

What is SciDoc?

SciDoc manages the collection of Scientific Technical Information (STI) products, metadata, and user access. STI is submitted to SciDoc for later reporting to the DOE by publishing through the Office of Scientific Technical Information (OSTI) repository.

SLAC’s STI Program in the Office of the CIO, is responsible for day-to-day operations associated with managing SLAC’s STI product compliance and reporting. SLAC is aligning all STI products with those mandated by the DOE. SLAC supports the DOE’s mandate using the SLAC scientific document repository SciDoc.

SciDoc provides the authoring community the ability to register and submit their STI documents electronically. SciDoc’s back-end system facilitate the collection, categorization, review, public dissemination, and reporting of STI products.
